Hello ladies and gentlemen, I welcome you to this fine evening. My name is Connor Davis and I have been at this school since prep.
People who make the school just the way it is should be acknowledged. There are people like Jared who can end up relating to many people around the school, helping and taking pressure off people with a cheesy pun. There’s also Lee Pregnal who was my teacher earlier this year and I always enjoyed his sense of humor during class time that would make sense and not result with much distraction or without it swaying from the subject. But there was the time he accidentally threw a boiled egg through the class and it hit Liam on the head. That was quite a distracting, off topic incident. I’d like to acknowledge Matt and Rebecca for managing the school and growing it. People in class who have been supporting us such as the student teachers around the school, students and even parents here who have come along to an excursion like met challenge or school camp.
There are many teachers I’d like to acknowledge personally in my school experience. During prep I had a teacher called Lee Richardson. She evoked my love for reading. In year 1 one of my 2 teachers was Andy. Andy was the best teacher ever. He developed my love for learning though not just with math, literature and other school subjects but things like building or developing or new ways of doing things. He made learning fun. In year 4 and 5 my teacher was Jude. She helped me develop confidence in my work and socially. And this year I had Lee Pregnal who helped me get ready for year 7.
So it all comes down to this. We’re all here saying goodbye to the school that’s helped us become the way we are and has been an important factor to our lives and with the experience gained from my primary school education. I’m glad I went to this school and I’m not sure, even if I had the opportunity I would choose another.
